STYKKE FOR STYKKE is a textile installation functioning as a spatial divider, constructed from surplus leather sourced from the furniture industry. The 12 × 2 metre structure is assembled piece by piece from individual leather fragments, forming a continuous spatial element.

Inspired by the industrial architecture of Brønshøj Water Tower and Olga Ravn’s The Employees, the project reframes discarded leather as a tactile and architectural material. Through form, material and scale experiments, the installation explored how new value can emerge through context and spatial interaction.

Exhibited in Brønshøj Water Tower, the work entered into dialogue with the raw industrial setting, reflecting my ongoing interest in textiles within architectural frameworks.
